I watched the first episode last night and I liked it! Since I have no recollection of having seen the very first episode of the original series, I am going to watch that tonight and I will be giving my opinion of the new one, talking about the original E01 and comparing both!

Little House on the Prairie
I was a fan of the original 1974 series that ran for 9 seasons. I don't think I started watching from the beginning; I think I came in at a later season. I enjoyed the series and I always meant to watch from the beginning, but I never got around to doing it. When I heard that Netflix was doing a new series this year, I was on board!
Untitled For Now
Television has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My earliest memory of sitting in front of one is back in July 1969. I was 2 months away from my third birthday. I remember watching Neil Armstrong walk on the moon. I don't recall if it was on the news, if it was a live feed or even a special report. I just remember watching. My second memory was sometime in 1974 when I was 7-8 years old. I remember watching the Vietnam war. Did I know it was real? No idea. I just remember watching it.
As I got older, I started to sneak out of my room to watch "late night" TV (usually after 10PM). On the weekends, there were these shows that were not on at regular hours and if I had not snuck out to watch them, I would not have realized how many great shows were on before I was born. It was from sneaking out of bed that I found SCTV, which I later found out, never had a regular time on TV. It was pretty much all over the place. I found old shows like Ben Casey and Wolfman Jack's Midnight Special.
There were many shows in the 70s I clearly remember watching even though I was a child. I remember watching the 1/2 hour night version of The Price is Right with Dennis James as the host. I remember Emergency!, All in the Family, and all of those Norman Lear shows of the 70s. I have been a TV junkie since I was a child.
All these decades later, nothing has changed. I am still a slave to that TV and with streaming sites and all the other channels available, I am in heaven. There were a few years that I did not watch many TV shows that were no Korean, Japanese or Chinese. I went back to watch a few and a lot of my free time is now spent on TV.
The other day I realized I should have a TV blog as well. So here I am. I'm starting my TV blog. Why not?
